Lydia Moyer is a visual artist and media maker who works with image, sound and text. Prior to graduate study, she worked in both commercial and non-profit media production. Her work is shown regularly in experimental film and video festivals in the US and Europe. She is part of several collectives of artists who show together in gallery exhibitions and often works collaboratively with writers and other artists to produce books and moving images. 

Professor Moyer received her MFA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel and her BFA from the New York School of Art and Design at Alfred.  She also studied studio art at Concordia University in Montreal, QC.
